10:00 a.m. Ocean Explorers 

Let’s pretend - you are ocean explorers! Using sensory play and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) come take a dive with us as we explore ocean creatures and their habitats. Our young ocean explorers will create ocean habitats from cardboard, recyclables and loose parts.  

Age: 3-5 years old

1:00 p.m. Circuit Creatures   

Let’s dive into the electrifying world of circuits! We will explore the basics of circuitry with lights and batteries. Our young inventors will gain new problem-solving skills by transforming the purpose and possibilities of everyday items into glowing ocean creatures. 

Ages: 6-12 years old

2:30 p.m. Fish Fusion 

Calling all teen scientists! Meet us at your library to help uncover the mysterious creatures in our oceans. Using recycled plastics and an iron, you will fuse plastic together to create a collaborative mural of ocean creatures that were discovered by you! 

Ages: 13-18 years old
